The grapes come from vineyards situated in lands at the foot of mountains in the Sannio and Solopaca area, known for its ideal hillside exposure and a good thermal range.
The vineyards are controlled by the establishment’s technicians step by step in all the phases, from the pruning to ripening period, so this guarantees to have healthy and quality grapes reducing the use of plant protection products to a minimum quantity.
The vineyards are cultivated in fields characterized of clayey-calcareous marlstones with outcropping gravels or sandstones, at an altitude that varies between 250 -350m. asl.
The plant breeding systems are espalier and ray methods.
