Appellation: D.O.P. Sannio. Colour: Red. Variety: Aglianico 100%. Production area: In territory of Microzone D.O.P. Sannio. Height: 250/350 m. asl. Land: Soil composed of clay and limestone with emergent sandstones. Pruning/Cultivation System: Spalier. Production surface: 1.50 hectares. Grape Yeld: HL 45 per hectare. Harvest: late. Wine making process: Hand picked in boxes with bunches selection. Purely, through soft pressing of grapes and soaking at temperature of 20/22°C. Refinement: In French oak allies barriques, in stainless tanks and bottles. Alcholic strenght: 14% vol. Packaging: Six bottle per box. 

PROFILE.

Strong and lingering, this deep garnet red wine has notes of ripe fruit such as blackberries, plums, raspberries. it has concentration and volume. Matierno pairs with roasts, ragout and game, serving temperature  +18-20°C.
